In this second volume of our Extra Fat Snares series, we dialed in some extra lo-fi and tasty processing to make our sounds thump even harder. Designed after boom bap snares of the late 90's and 2000's, we wanted these snares to have the right crunch to stand out on your tracks. We have included four different versions of each snare. Clean with minimal processing, perfect for you to process however you'd like. S950 that are obviously run through the classic Akai S950 12-bit sampler at a 9k sample rate. Saturated, which are the S950 snares then processed through asymmetrical saturation and finally circuits, which are the clean sounds run through transformer saturation and 4-track circuitry.
